Service Description
Family Occupational Therapy focuses on how individual needs, routines, regulation, communication, and daily patterns impact the family as a whole. Sessions provide practical, individualized support to help families better understand one another, strengthen shared goals, and create strategies that carry over into everyday life. Care is guided by each family’s unique needs and plan of care, with an emphasis on meaningful participation, connection, and sustainable change at home.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be charged the scheduled session fee or counted as a used session when purchased through a prepaid package. Exceptions may be made for emergencies or extenuating circumstances at the provider’s discretion. Appointments begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrival does not extend the session. Payment is due according to the selected service or package at the time of purchase or appointment. Prepaid packages are non-transferable and must be used within 90 days. Extensions may be approved for illness, travel, provider availability, or other extenuating circumstances. Refund requests for unused prepaid services will be reviewed individually and handled in accordance with applicable law and the client’s plan of care. If Ordinarily Sacred cancels or reschedules an appointment, the client will not be charged and a prepaid session will not be deducted. By booking, clients acknowledge and agree to this scheduling and payment policy.
